Epilepsy & neurotechnology

A professional focus.
A personal connection.

Executive search informed by an interest in the medicines, devices and technologies that could improve life for people with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.

Why this field matters to Jeff.

Jeff lives with epilepsy. Effective treatment has enabled him to continue building his career, travelling internationally, raising his family and doing work he enjoys.

That lived experience gives him a personal reason to follow developments in neurological care. It sits alongside 30 years of international executive search experience across Life Sciences.

The search work remains grounded in the client’s business, its stage of development and the requirements of the appointment.

Understanding the appointment.

A neurotechnology business may need a leader who can work across technical development, clinical requirements and commercial priorities. Defining the balance is an important part of the brief.

Arlanda’s selected CTO assignment involved a search at the interface of MedTech, universities and AI, principally across Europe.

Chief Technology Officer

Neurostimulation · Europe

A neurostimulation company developing a novel technology needed a highly credible technical leader during a funding process. The brief called for someone who could drive technology development while bringing a strong commercial perspective. The search focused mainly on Europe, exploring the interface between MedTech, universities and AI. The client’s specific requirements called for a focused shortlist, with a successful outcome in eight weeks.
